Team Work

Team Work: the work, and activity of persons who individually contribute toward the efficiency of the whole. Source Merriam-Webster Dictionary One of the biggest things I promoted with my boys was that we were a team. When it was time to clean we did it as a team. That way it wasn't too much on one person. We were to look out for each other. If one of them had a problem, it became everyone's problem we were a team. We would have family meetings in the living room, and everyone would try to give a solution to the problem. This would invoke better thinking skills, and they never felt alone on any one issue, because we were a team. It also helped me to make sure that they were using good reasoning skills on tough issue’s. If your part of a team it means your also responsible for others, your behaviors now affect more than just yourself. Which means you must think twice about your actions, because they will affect the team. Even today they are grown men, but if something tough comes up they help each other no questions ask. They are good guys; people love the unity we all have with each other. Implant the idea of team work into your children, you will see a change for the better. Benefits of teamwork Each individual can bring their talents to the table. Big jobs get completed faster, and more sufficient. Creates unity within the team. Less individual stress, since others are helping to find solutions.
